In regards to the stressful situation of the 4th wave pandemic, Bao Bao Company had to have a contingency plan to keep both the workers safe and the supply chain stable. After Long An province imposing Directive 16, Bao Bao had activated the ‘three on-site’ scheme. On 14th of July 2021, the Board of Directors and the company’s Covid-19 prevention committee had promptly arranged and organised for more than 60% of the total workers to produce, stay and rest at the factory.

Bao Bao Company had put on many attempts and strategies in keeping the environment safe and allocating production for the customers’ orders. The company had received a major support and guidance from Ben Luc Department of Health in testing and vaccination. Besides, the company’s Covid-19 prevention committee was also closely monitoring and assuring 5K in the factory. As a precaution against Covid-19, each worker had to test negative before entering the factory and twice a week to keep the environment free from infection. Additionally, the tables at the canteen would be kept at distance and each production team would have different dining schedule. Regarding to the protection of the delivery team, the drivers would be requested to stay behind the fence, and thus, to disinfect and wear protective garments.

Bao Bao had put on the absolute screening to keep the environment free from Covid-19 for more than 60% of the total workers. The process had nurtured the trust and confidence for the workers to keep up with the production, resulting us to have zero cases in three months, keep the workers employed, and fulfil the customers’ orders.

After 3 months practicing the ‘three on-site’ scheme, Bao Bao Company has recovered production with 100% vaccinated employees.
